Water kefir grains are used to culture water into fermented drinks rich in probiotics. Water kefir has a delicate flavour, makes a great alternative to soda drinks and is easily flavoured with fruit.
Although water kefir grains all have similar bacteria, they do vary slightly from one to the next. Symbiota water kefir grains originate from multiple sources to maximise the diversity of bacteria; ultimately producing strong, active and health grains.
A portion of active water kefir grains culture 1-2 cups of water within 12-24hrs. Thereafter 1+ litres can be cultured within a few days.
