Yummy summer water kefir recipes!

Been loving your water kefir this summer? How about trialing some new flavours?

If you haven’t already made water kefir, be sure to check out our water kefir kit or if you already in the “know how” and just needing a new water kefir culture, grab that here.


Once having completed you first 2 day ferment, bottle you water kefir into an airtight bottle with your favourite fruit combos to get some great flavour. Hint, if not using fruit add ¼ tsp sugar to get your water kefir super fizzy!


Our best flavours (adjust to your required water kefir taste):

Crème Soda:

Add ½ a teaspoon of vanilla extract to your second ferment


Lemon and ginger:

1 tablespoon of freshly grated ginger

2 Tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice


Berry bliss

Blitz up 5 strawberries and add them to your water kefir for that yummy fresh berry flavoured water kefir.


Summer loving

Blitz up the flesh of a peach and add to your water kefir.



Add the juice of a decent chunk of watermelon juice for the ultimate rejuvenating and refreshing water kefir!


And of course, serve your water kefir with some clinking ice to truly enjoy that summer feel!
