Agar Gummies Using Kombucha

  • 1 cups Kombucha
  • 1 cup fresh fruit juice (sieve out pulp)
  • 2 teaspoon Agar agar powder
  • 1/2 cup Sugar (or as sweet as you want it)
  • 1/2 cup water


  • Dissolve water and sugar in a pot.
  • Boil over a medium heat until you have a thick clear sugary liquid
  • Dissolve agar 2 tablespoons of water and add to the fruit juice. 
  • Add agar/fruit juice mix to the sugar mixture and simmer for 7 minutes. Keep stirring. After 7 minutes, turn off the heat.
  • Add Kombucha to the pot’s contents, stir through and begin placing in your moulds.
  • Using a dropper, pour the Agar mixture into your desired mould and keep in the fridge for at least 25-30 minutes.
  • Remove your newly formed delicious gummies from the moulds and enjoy.

Note when agar agar starts setting around 45 degrees celscius, it begin setting very quickly,
