Elasticated Cotton Covers for Ferments, Jars, and Bowls

Keep your ferments, jars, and bowls clean and protected with Symbiota’s elasticated cotton covers. Designed to replace flimsy rubber bands, these covers make fermenting easier, safer, and more hygienic, protecting your food from dust, mold, and fruit flies.

Our cotton covers are made with a fine fabric weave, allowing your ferments to breathe while keeping unwanted contaminants out. They are ideal for use with kombucha, water kefir, milk kefir, ginger beer, and any other ferment that requires airflow during the fermentation process.

These elasticated tops fit jar diameters of 7–10cm. If you need a larger size, check out our large cotton covers. They are also versatile enough to serve as general bowl covers for leftover food or other kitchen uses.
